So much to do, so little time!

Some Timesaving Tips for those who juggle full-time jobs, families, pets and
art...
 |
Don't worry your sleepy mind:
Ladies, do you have trouble
waking up in the morning? Try this little trick: set
up your lotions, potions & makeup in a row, starting with the
first thing you put on your face, in order to the last thing.
As you blearily start putting yourself together, you won't have
to think about what you're doing next. Simply reach for
the next bottle in line!
|
 |
Take time for yourself:
If you burn yourself out, you won't
be able to keep up with day-to-day demands. Make an
appointment with yourself to relax for a set period of time.
Make a cup of hot tea, settle back with a good book and take it
easy for a spell. If you simply can't bear to sit for any
period of time without doing something, take up knitting!
You can accomplish something while you're relaxing, or watching
TV, or even on long trips. Watch for some upcoming knitting
tips in Queen Bee Textiles...

Stage tomorrow: Before
going to bed, set out the outfit you'll wear the next day,
including jewelry. Check the weather report to be sure you
know what to wear. Put anything you need to take to work or
school in the car. Determine what you'll make for lunch, and
make sure you have the makings.
|
 |
Multi-Task:
Watching TV, waiting for doctor appointments; anytime you have to
sit for any length of time, pick up your knitting needles or
crochet hook and work on a project. You'd be surprised at
how much you can accomplish during that 'dead time'.
|
 |
Organize Central:
Hang
a whiteboard on the pantry door. Use it to capture
telephone messages, reminders and 'To Do' lists. As you
accomplish each item on your list, cross it off. At the end
of the day, erase today's list and start on tomorrow's...
